Well I have her back up and running! @ToyotaMatt you trick worked like a champ! Little tap on the Air Horn, then some carb cleaner, wait 5 Min and the start. Started up an ran for a bit till I tried to give it a bit of gas then stalled out. Repeated gain and this time boom up and running and...

Well, this is interesting today, any Thoughts??

I suppose you're worried about some guy going in on with a hammer and cracking the case of the carburetor while tapping away hence using the back in of a plastic screwdriver??

Well, this is interesting today, any Thoughts??

Ok ToyotaMatt > maybe I answered my own question regarding the Air horn that you referring to (see pic attached). So if I hear ya correctly your saying give some nice firm taps on top of the Air Horn part on the carb. See diagram attached. I believe that is what you meant :) and if that...

Well, this is interesting today, any Thoughts??

She Has Gas in the fuel tank, as I never let her get to empty, and yup the Fuel Gauge in the Cluster registers 3/4 of a tank. >Checked the Fuel Filter and it seemed to be ok but went ahead and ordered a new one (OEM) from Toyota and will pick it up tomorrow. >Took the AirCleaner off so I...

Well, this is interesting today, any Thoughts??

Yeah I'm starting to think I am not getting Fuel to the Carb. I just went back down and looked at the Fuel Window on the carb and to me she looks pretty dry (see pic) but I would assume one would see fluid in there :). Gas is not that old at all as I was driving it frequently prior to it sitting...

Well, this is interesting today, any Thoughts??

So I went out to take the 85 FJ60 for a spin and unfortunately for me, I have been out of town for a while and my truck hasn't been started in a while, prob like 2 months. Ran like a top when I last drove it and parked in the garage. So go out to start it and it cranks over just fine but no...

    Smog Pump Disassembly and Rebuild.

I suppose so, the take offs of the two pipes where shorter and at slightly different angles. It may have worked with some retro fitting but after reading a few positive things about B-Z Rebuilders and for less $$ than the one from O'Reilly I sent it back and shipped mine to B-Z.

    Smog Pump Disassembly and Rebuild.

So my Smog Pump shot craps and locked up just recently. I purchased one from O'Reilly the Cardone Remanufactured #33-768 and the one I received looked nothing like my OEM one so I sent it back and sent my OEM to B-Z Rebuilders. These guys rock, turn around time was fast and the rebuild cost me...
