What did you do with your 60 this weekend?

Knuckles, hub rebuild, front and rear brakes and hoses, 555 steering joints and some new parking brake equalizer bushings that I realized were completely missing. Had a couple of casualties along the way...old (apparently brass or something) brake hose end from axle to front backing plate...

Posted a video of my FJ60 on YouTube

I watched this the other day and was really envious of your CAD skills. I'd love to learn so I can start using Send Cut Send, etc. Nice work!

    Relocating AC Drier

Not suggesting this is what I would necessarily do, but I think Dissent is pretty well regarded and has probably done this on a bunch of installs. Certainly a cheaper option and doesn't require discharging the system. I'm sure the consensus will be that the drier is not designed to operate in...

    New to me 84.

Trail Tailor makes some billet front vents too. https://trail-tailor.com/store/p140/Reproduction_Fender_Vents_-_60_Series.html

    Knuckle Rebuild-Axle Advice

I believe Trail Tailor and Delta Vehicle Systems both sell the axle seal (over)drive tool. The Trail Tailor one doesn't specify whether it's an overdriver but it clearly has a machined step. https://www.deltavs.com/all-products/dvs-80-series-inner-axle-seal-overdrive-tool...

Using AI to work on old iron!

I'm on the fence on this one. I was very resistant to AI (and still am, really) but I have found it incredibly helpful when doing research about my engine swap project. Mostly because standard Google searches are so bought and paid for now that the answer you really wanted is on search page 20...

    Stripped Caliper Mounting Bolt Hole

Yeah, I'm not a machinist by any means and I thought it was challenging (at least nerve wracking) off the vehicle. I wouldn't want to try it with the knuckle still installed, personally.

    Stripped Caliper Mounting Bolt Hole

I literally just did this with the Timesert kit about a month ago. Worked great with the 15mm inserts that came with the kit. I did have the knuckle torn down when I installed them though.

    Registry 8x Series V8 Swaps

That's a nice setup! What's the plastic intake 90 at the throttle body from?

    Registry 8x Series V8 Swaps

Oh, that's reassuring. Thanks. Yeah, I need to dive into this a little further with the E92.

    Registry 8x Series V8 Swaps

There are a couple of small digital display centers but I'm not sure how exactly they can be formatted. My guess is that they're pretty user configurable but I haven't gotten that far yet. Most expensive gauge color change ever. Haha

    Registry 8x Series V8 Swaps

I completely agree. The voltage shouldn't be an issue and I thought the coolant temp wouldn't be either until now. Apparently though, GM ECMs don't broadcast oil pressure via OBDII CAN BUS even though the computer clearly has the data available. It's somehow "proprietary" information? The...

    Registry 8x Series V8 Swaps

It actually does come with a mechanical speedo input adapter. Interestingly, the instructions state that you MUST use their provided oil pressure and coolant temperature sensors or the gauge cluster may malfunction. I didn't realize that before buying and it's kind of annoying since I expected...

    Brush guard rubber

Something like this? Obviously not OEM but might work. One of the Q&A deals says it's 1.5" wide but I'm not sure if that's the internal dimension or not. https://www.summitracing.com/parts/wsa-40-1004

Brand new Toyota oem radiator leaking

I remember reading @1MAC saying he had this problem with an OEM radiator recently.
