Yep that’s right re the 9/10in options…. But in Europe they don’t do the 10in options yet (not alpine anyway).
The 9inch bezel I’ve got won’t fit without the security strip - it leaves a void in the dash… and that’s the issue. Finding a bezel that fills the whole space (like yours)… but only...
Have you found a fascia for a 9in display? Like the one you have already, just smaller. The ones I’ve found so far won’t work as they leave a gap for the security strip of the manual air con round dial models.
For the amp bracket holes I’ll get those measured in a week or so when home…it’s...
Sounds good. 🫣
Planning to re-use an Audison 10inch sub and some old JBLs I have in storage (Only because all factory speakers have died)
Picked up a NOS Alpine S2-A55v which was on offer on eBay to connect everything.
But having a plug and play (or close to it) option would be handy….got far...
So, been having a look at these adapters which you posted above. They come in 2 sizes, 9 and 10 inch.
Seems they were initially designed for all the cheap Chinese radios that have the trapezoid sized screens.
Now; Pioneer, Kenwood and Alpine are copying the Chinese for once and making quality...

It’s the right size, but pretty sure it’ll be CCC (cheap Chinese crap).
I’d prefer standard double din sized unit from Japan… I know it won’t look OEM, but they just work.
Installed Chinese units in my BMW e39 and e46 tourings….
They looked good, but always had issues (not connecting to...
Maybe round the edges of the 4 buttons to closer mimic the OEM buttons below?
Would there be an option to make it in black like your render?
I realise the OEM is silver. However, would blend in better with the black vents and most likely black double din unit which will go in above.

Question about this… the security strip is different in the nav/non nav version… so I assume we will need to source the non nav version.
Will that part simply plug in and work?
Or is there a facia adapter that can utilise the nav security strip without the need buy a different one?
The one...
I'd buy one also.
(probably 2 - for the planned LX470 I'm saving up for)
Whatever backlighting setup is decided upon, would be good to have it adjustable for night driving - the ability to turn off the lights/screens/displays completely would be nice.
Re the "knob" question... 2 work all in...
