Hello fellow 80 series enthusiasts! Long story short, my neighbor hit my 80 while it was parked on the street. The front fender had to be replaced, and the door had to be repaired. There was also some suspension damage. Luckily the insurance company took care of everything. I got the car back...

I went back and took a look at a cleaner part of the oil pan and noticed that it was white actually. Not sure if I've ever seen white RTV. I think it appeared grey from the grease and oil on it. Not sure! I'm happy with it as long as it doesn't leak 🤣

Alright, removed the tensioner and gently moved the chain out of the way with a pick to examine the guides. They look good to me.. there doesn't appear to be much wear on the slipper. I ran a pick across it and felt some very small grooves where the edges of the chain ride. Not bad at all. Much...

Muffler Bearings are a must!! Anyone have the Toyota part # for them?? ;) I've been staring at this timing chain/guides for the past hour and come to the consensus that I think it's ok. I climbed on top of the engine and stared straight down the valve cover. I can see tensioner material on...
