    Brake booster

Thanks everyone for replying. It is for ebrake cable. We found the grommet in a totem full of parts and it fits hole in floor.

    Brake booster

Did original 1977 fj40 have power brakes and was the master cylinder always on the firewall. The reason I am asking is there is a hole in the floor below the brake pedal. The hole looks to be maybe 2 inches in diameter. My truck has master cylinder mounted under the floor with arm for the brake...

    Unknown part

Thanks for the reply. When my son bought his fj40 it came with a bunch of parts in boxes with no idea where they went. It also had a vintage air system that had a lot of parts with it. This bracket may go with that. Thanks again.

    Testing voltage regulator

We checked battery before starting and meter 12.3 volts. Started it up and still read 12.3 volts. Revved engine and held to fast idle and still read 12.3 volts. It has a new battery and had alternator checked 2 different places and it checked as good. Amp meter always reads to the left of center...

    Charging system

If charging system is working as it should be where on the ammeter should the needle be. On my sons 77 fj40 the needle stays a little to the left of the center line . On my truck I have a volt meter and it reads between 14 and 15 volts when running.
