So, was cleaning off the battery terminals and found this... The top part basically popped out of the part in my finger I'm curious how this should go. I'm guessing this is my culprit. It's on the positive side of the battery... but still, the bolts just slid out when i went to sit it back...

After a long summer for my 99 LC, I figured it deserved a short photo dump lol. We drove from DFW to close to Monterrey, MX where it spent the next 6 weeks with my family. Door-door, was just shy of 1800 miles. My wife/daughter used the LC in the photo shoot (even picture, 3rd from the top)...

The chirping was intermittent after I took the leaf out...I heard it a couple times even before the leaf. I think the bearing was going...just the timing. I replaced the blower...no more noises.
