How difficult is a rebuild on one of these, or is it just a pull apart and slide bearings off. Could the rebuild be done with basic tools on garage floor, or more of a shop setup, the transmission is already off

Tried making a home made tool to crack it but it still won't go a d just bent the bolts

How to crack this locking ring, can't see to get it undone, it holds the injector timing gear on and I don't have the set, too expensive

Can anyone recommend an easy way to do the nut back up to spec, can I just rotate the engine till it locks and then tighten the bolt?
