Hi all, I am in need of a good body shop that does a little custom-fab work, thinks outside-the-box, and doesn't have the highest rates in the county. I need assistance to: finish fender removal process, potentially build custom flares, redo clear coat and/or apply a durable outer coating/wrap...
So sorry that you have had to go through all of this. Deer (and other wildlife) can really do a number on our Toys, especially the newer models with more plastic in construction...I would pity a deer that got in the way of my ARB front bumper. With that being said, I would like to take this...
Aloha! My son-in-law usually has the pleasure of driving my 80 around OC, but for much of the Spring I will have it for adventuring. I keep my 80 on the US mainland when I am off in Hawaii (where I live most of the year), but while I am here I like to get some use out of it.

Thanks for your opinion (without seeing the vehicle), would you like to make an offer? Or just tell everyone that it isn't worth double-digits, sight unseen? I have 2 interested buyers at $12k, so if you are interested, great! If not, please don't discredit my vehicle.
My location states Hawaii, but the post is clear. I brought this FJ40 from Hawaii to sell here. I admit $18,000 was high, every mechanic that has seen it agrees $15,000 is a fair price, but it is not moving. $12,000 is my break-even price, anything below and I will be losing money. I have 2...
Still mostly on schedule, I will create a new post with the new photos this weekend. Price drop! $12,000. I am running out of time on getting this sold. Please reply if interested.
UPDATE: Tax Day Discount, I am offering this FJ40 for $15,000 now. Motivated to sell and recoup some unexpected expenses.
Sorry for the delays everyone, I had a major driveshaft issue on my FJ80 (the towing vehicle). I am leaving Vegas today, headed to Moab for the night and tomorrow morning...
I have a slight change to the schedule:
April 8th, Orange, CA to Las Vegas
April 10th, Las Vegas to Moab
April 11/12th, Moab to Denver (this leg may take a little longer using my 4 ton '94 FJ80 to tow the 1.5-2 ton FJ40 over the rockies)
Trying to arrive in Lakewood, CO no later than 4/13...
Coating was done long before I owned it, all cancer is purely surface (except for the exhaust), and much of it is being cleaned up by the repair shop as we speak.
I do. Pics were taken before dropping off for cleanup, so actual appearance after 4/8 will be much better and pictures will be posted. There are more pics on my FB ads, are you active with any of the US Cruiser groups on there?
Price: $18,000
We have had this FJ for 1 year. Bought it in Hawaii, and shipped it here. I have been an FJ enthusiast on the US mainland for years and know the shortage of good quality FJ40's. I felt it was my duty to bring this one where it would be appreciated. Low mileage (80K), little rust (only...
