Yes you are absolutely right ! We do have the 4.6 and mostly for sand running ...and Yeah mostly 2nd and 3rd gear, because you have to keep momentum. From what I understood, regarding re gearing it seems that it would help only in getting the car to move? Wouldn't it help in higher gears ...

My question is that .. Will I benefit from re gearing my lc 200 after installing 17r/70/285 tires? Should I upgrade my differentials?

It is 285/70/17 pirelli AT I used to have 265/70/17 , which had almost no issue with 0 offset. The bigger tire rides better , only issue is that I have 0 offset and I am aftaid it might hit the front fender with bottoming out

I just modifed my lc200 with bigger tires and new wheels Only issue is that those wheels have 0 offset , lots of triming had to be done
