...and then we went through six weeks of everyone in the house being sick. Two rounds of Covid, two influenzas, a chest cold, something that looked suspiciously like rotavirus, a dog that decided she loves raisins, and even a bunny with a tummyache because I have evidently offended all of the...

But I have suspension seats in my 73, so that should count. 😁 Thanks in advance if you do. Wish I could use this set; good price on them. 👍

@joekatana , if you do get a suspension set - or even just the passenger set for RHD - I'd like to grab them. I have one that's actually broken (little tracking dingus inside is actually missing) and I can't find a way to fix it without replacing the slider entirely.

That's because it can; it can make a lot of difference...especially when dealing with dead and slack spots, return-to-center, wandering, etc. Caster, camber and toe are all related and all impact each other both statically and dynamically; it's simply a question of how much, as you correctly...

I highlighted the key word, there. In this case, I haven't done any kind of calculations to figure out the amount of toe change, but it doesn't impact the answer: caster change does impact the toe, and that's all I was pointing out. I agree that it's not by much - especially when static - but...

It's not an incorrect option. I just happen to like the safety thimble better. But it's all personal preference, you know? 🤷‍♂️

I don't think they do; that's kind of a specialty item...but Slee generally has decent stuff, so I'm sure that would work. How'd you end up with a TRE line but not a thimble? Inquiring minds wish to know... 🤔

This is my current favorite. Disclaimer: I'm also very biased, because TRE has always taken very good care of me. They also have legit safety thimbles, and I have very strong opinions on them as well.

Not the first time I've seen that happen with a Factor 55 hawse. I'm...not a fan of that company. Yeah, that's the polite way to say it. But: good on you for finding a workable solution. 👍

roof top tent with FRP top?

Depends on how tall you are, but most people will have to generate a bit of extra space, yeah. One of my housemates, however, is short enough to sleep right behind the seat on a mattress. You can minimize that if you want to sleep diagonally, but that doesn't allow two people. Very cool. 👍

roof top tent with FRP top?

No more complicated than going up and down the ladder in the middle of the night if you need to use the facilities. I'm actually working on that issue currently. Short answer: sure, it's possible. Yes. Four bolts, in mine. How tall are you? I'm 5'-10" (178cm) and I didn't have nearly...

roof top tent with FRP top?

There are gutters; I'm looking at a set of them on my 73 right now. And that's actually the issue, here. Rather, it's part of the issue. @pakaLJ73, my best advice to you regarding a rooftop tent on an FRP top is this: take the top out of the equation entirely. FRP is a very strong material...
