Hey all, Need a new windshield for the 1999 TLC and Safelite told me this morning they will not do it because of the “severe rust” that is around the windshield. Hoping to get some advice on next steps before just taking it to someone else, for example should it be going into a body shop first?

How are you guys getting the white heat matrix out of the car without touching the AC on the passenger side?
