Defective motor. Replaced with a different one and it's working (for now). Fingers crossed that the junk yard has a new 80 in it after they crushed the one I was taking pieces off last fall .

Ha, that's a pretty awesome how-to. I replaced the master switch with a new one and I was able to work all of the other windows, and locks, but the drivers still didn't work. I removed the arm/motor and gave it 12v - nothing not even a click. Being that it was a knock-off in the first place...

Yeah it was the oddest brake troubleshooting I've ever experienced. FWIW, while pulling out my hair I had exactly what you're describing when I removed the vacuum line to my booster. I won't pretend to know what goes wrong in brake boosters, but if I'm you, I'm checking o make sure the line...

Yup. Makes perfect sense to me...they may end up requiring me to have it fixed at a collision shop and I'll demand a new OEM part color matched anyway. Thanks for the insight.

Thanks for the lead guys. I bookmarked it. Besides shipping being $30 and it saying on the website to expect delays in shipping, posting in the parts section was also suggested in this thread. There's literally zero reason not to consider all options.

Hum....maybe old new stock? I have to take to to a collision shop for an estimate etc... So I'll see what they say. If I can find one myself I may just pocket the check, do the work, and buy a shiny new battery my baby's had her eye on...or even a replacement spare the same size as the tires.

It was the booster. Replaced mine with an amazon special yesterday and the brakes are much much better. I'll probably hunt down an oem replacement now just for piece of mind.
