That's a really good idea with the fuse holder. I think the j box I bought might be large enough to package everything inside too. Another idea might be to 3D print a holder for the solder in diodes. I can probably make that significantly smaller

Yes. I don't really like gelcoat. It works well to shoot it into a mold, then glass and bag, but shooting it onto a part is not pleasant. As a substrate to paint over, it's fine, and you've got something to sand through before getting to the fibreglass and the fuzzies. Toyota left them...

That can be repaired. The question is whether it's worth it. That fibreglass is really old, the resins are well past their prime. The previous owner hacked a sunroof into mine and I used a replacement cap from Classic Cruisers with my original gutter If I were to do it again, I would weld up...

Re-sealing the engine, since it is out, is pretty straight forward. I'd pull the head and grind the valves and seats. Valve seals will be done at that time as well. Valves probably don't need any attention, but the engine is out

I had a drawer setup i made for my 40. Switched back to totes and a shelf for the dog. I use a trailer.
