I don't have the Rotopax yet. I ordered the universal mounting plate though which should arrive within the next week.

I just picked up some Yakima Mighty Mounts and will try mounting the Rotopax universal plate to the stock roof rack cross bars with these Mighty Mounts (size 23H).

Did you ever get an answer to your question? I am looking to mount a rotopax to either the stock roof rails or the 1515 extrusion. Not sure which way I want to go yet. Thanks

Thanks for the great idea and all the details. Have the rails ever touched the roof when you've loaded them? How much room between the bottom of the rail and the roof?

Do you have any OEM roof rack parts?

That would be great. I could go without the end cap. My driver's side end cap is cracked but really need the cross/load bars. How much would you want for them?
