Hey mate. Thanks for the detailed reply! I ended up changing out the gauge as it appeared to be the only thing that I wasn't sure on and BAM. a working install 😁
Thanks again
I tested at the 6 pin plug that is part of the body harness to get that readibg that rules out the short harness to the subtank sender. I did have a look underneath the passenger floor but couldn't see any connections there.
So I'm getting approximately 8v at the rear plug going to the sender (sender is unplugged). Sender is measuring about 110ohm at the moment with some fuel in it. That seems I'm the ballpark of where I'd expect it.
I'm guessing this should be 12v and the power eventually comes from the gauge pod...
Well I managed to get the short harness by a miracle as they seem harder to come by even here in Australia! So everything installed and working properly! The only gremlin I have is the sub tank gauge not working.
Can someone point me in the right direction of where I can check. I'm guessing at...
Spoke with Toyota yesterday. Unable to get it. They did indicate the one from the 100 series may be the same part number 82169-60030 also unavailable though 😅
Yes. I believe rear washer is either rotate stalk or push the end of the stalk in towards the steering column. I would think that pulling the stalk back towards you would activate the front washer
Ok. Finally got round to checking out the diodes. Both good! So now I'm wondering if there's different combination switches for the different years? When I try to activate the front pump by pulling the stalk back towards me there is no pump at all. Hmmmm. Thoughts?
That matches up with what I've seen as well but I'm wondering if then it's not even on the correct section of the throttle body. Could you have a look at yours for me please?
Hi all.
A442f transmission here in a 93 gxl.
Since I've had my cruiser the gear changes are harsh. It's very evident in low range as shifting from first to second gives a big clunk as it engages. There is also a big clunk when coming off the throttle too.
The valves were supposedly done...
