I fixed the rough idle!!!! Wahoo :bounce:
As promised here is what was wrong: It was the blanking O2 sensor plug. I replaced the O2 sensors about 9mo ago and overlooked them in my T/S, but sure enough I had a stored code of 26. I knew there was no way it was the sensor itself but sure enough...
Hello, I am having trouble finding the cause of two very annoying issues. I have done a done of searching in this forum and a lot of the time I find people that have had the same issues I am having, but no one seems to follow up once they fix the issue. I hear by promise that when I fix these...
Understood but to test myself I have even popped it into neutral and is still locks. Also I am aware it could be my VC binding up causing an unequal load from front to back but I have taken the driveshaft off and tested the VC and it is functioning as intended.

I made a bunch more progress, I have the head on but not torqued. The only thing that concerning me is how clean I was able to get the block. I got all residue off and everything is smooth, there is just some minor pitting. This is the worst area, should I be concerned?
Coby at Quality Cylinder Head Specialist is the man to see. I can't say enough good things about his business. He is super friendly, he let me ask all the questions I wanted and come look at his shop before I had the work done. Also my TLC was not his first, he has done many and was working on...
Just got my head back from the machinist and I'm really starting to feel good about this project. He did an amazing job at an extremely reasonable price. He did a full head job that included inspecting and cleaning everything, replacing all the valve seals and re-shimming all my valves. He also...
