    Great thread OP. I also have a ‘79 that I’ve been working on with my kids which has/had many of the issues and PO ‘patches’ you’ve been dealing with. Wonder if our 40’s came from the same PO! 😂 That said, enjoy reading the thread and look forward to following the progress!

    Ride height question

    Agreed. Would have to be a level surface setup. That said, I would assume these are 33’s? Couldn’t imagine it’d be possible to fit 35’s with a stock ride height.

    Question for the community… while it’s common to see FJs built to maximize tire clearance for off-road use, any thoughts on what modifications would need to be done to give the FJ a lowered stance as seen in this photo?
