Early 80 Series Dash Screws Grommet

Hello! I have a 1994 HZJ80 RHD which I am having trouble finding the grommet part numbers as the parts diagram does not list the part numbers. I am pretty certain the grommet and screws part numbers is the same for LHD FJ80 and FZJ80. If you look at the attached diagram and the parts that I...

    Steering wheel factory spline position

My apologies gentleman, the stops are looking good and very similar on both sides. One thing I noted is that, when the vehicle is on the alignment rack I noticed when adjusting the drag link the toe will move as well. I removed the drag link from the pitman arm and recenter both the steering...

    Steering wheel factory spline position

After I find the center and reposition the steering wheel as "straight". The steering turns are equal both sides. After dialing in the drag link to fix off center steering wheel when going straight, the turns are not equal again both sides of steering. 😅 Thoughts?

    Steering wheel factory spline position

It means that I have to move the drag link to the direction of the red arrow correct? But if it throws the steering wheel off, I might just live with a quarter turn difference as the main concern is the the alignments marks align and steering box centered. 😁

Thanks, the steering wheel is now straight when dead center. However, I still have quarter more turn left than right 😂😂

The photos attached are the pitman arm and steering box mark position when the wheels are dead straight. What are your thoughts? Do they line up? Thanks.

    Steering wheel factory spline position

Hello! I was wondering if there is a way to figure out the original factory spline position of the steering wheel on the 80 series. This is because the genius alignment shop tech has realign the off center steering wheel during alignment by popping off the steering wheel and readjusting it on...

    Help Identifying OEM Wheels

Thanks for the detailed reply. Looks like I have three options to choose from (assuming they are in still production). 1. 42601-60430-03 (16x6 wheel) - Limits tire size to just 235/85/16. 2. 42601-60362 (16x8 wheel) - Might poke slightly on my flareless 80. Able to run tire sizes such as...

    Help Identifying OEM Wheels

Apologies for replying an old thread but is the 42601-60430-03 six lug? Recommended tire sizes? My 80 series originally came with 16x5.50 split rims with 7.50R16. Thanks!

    1HZ Refuelling Nightmare

Thank you for the reply. I noticed a small hole at the filler neck which upon further searching it leads to the number 2 at the lower filler neck which is listed as the breather. It seems to be a thinner line together with the filler neck tube as highlighted in the diagram. Should I just shoot...

    Correct Lug Nuts

Hello! I would like to get some insights on what type of seat is on this wheel? It is a 16x8 ET-20 that look like oem toyota alloys but they are not. It just has "Australia" stamped on it. Is this the acorn style? Thanks!
