Yes I checked under the carpet. I don’t think the PO got rid of it because there is a fob that opened the doors, unless it is possible for the fob to just open the door. There is also the red security light that is to left of the steering wheel that is illuminated.

I have looked in the usual spots on my 97 fzj80. Those spots being under both the driver’s and passenger’s seats, drivers kick panel and under the glove box. If anybody can tell me where else to look or how to follow a wire back to it. I would really appreciate it.

I have a stripped lower front shock bolt on a relatively new OME shock. I need to know if I can retread it and if so what size nut and thread do I need? I have searched everywhere but the only info I can find is regarding the rear shocks. Any help would be much appreciated and thank you.
