I put my old one back together with CA glue to keep as a spare, and it turned out alright. Looks like you still have all your pieces if you want to try it out too!
I just had to ask him for a new T handle too!
I felt like a jackass after seeing that there was a second grub screw on the back side... I thought that it was possible a screw off handle since it wasn't just sliding off, and turned it a little too hard..
It went well. Not too bad at all.
I was really excited to have such a quiet drivetrain after getting everything settled.
Ill say all-in-all it took me about 12ish hours over 3 days maybe add 2-3 more for getting the cases, bolts, etc. all cleaned up.

Hey guys, starting tearing down the transfer case for a rebuild, mainly due to a whine it had developed. I has eliminated front and rear diffs as possible culprits.
Idler shaft was worn out just about as worse I had ever seen, luckily it and the bearings are included in the kit from cruiser...
Ok cool thanks, that's a good idea. I havent pulled my old console yet, so I wasn't sure how contoured it needed to be. I don't need any of the rear heat, so I can remove all of that if necessary.
