Rims are ET-44 or 45 (if I remember correct) and a set of 30mm spacers on the rear axel (for the look only, rear axel is narrower), I`ve got 2" body lift and OME springs. No touching on mine so articulation is ok. No cutting in chassis either. Home made front bumper and mudflaps (moved the...

Registry Post Pics Of Your Modded 7x Series

Hi. They are put there by me. Comes from a 90-series Prado (KZJ95) shortened to suit the FRP-top and mounted at the reinforced corner of the top. Dont use them to heavy load, just long-small things that dont fit inside.

35 inch tires with 2LT engine

Hi, Im running 35x12,5 tires on my LJ73. My 73 is my summer "fun" car so the fact that its a bit slow doesnt bother me at all. Its not exactly a race car with smaller tires either. My experience is that it sometimes can be a bit pita to get up to 3rd gear from second gear in steep hills, but...

    LJ70 glow plug issue

Hi, is the 12V fuse ok? Look at the diagram, its not enough that the relay is functioning in/out- it has got to deliver 12V to the plugs.

    1KZ-TE Reliability?

No you are correct Mr. It`s a lot of restrictions here too. Nonetheless a lot of people have an interest in off-roading, overlanding, dirt-bikes, adventure-bikes, rallying etc. Guess it`s more common to have that kind of interest if you don`t live in a city, and up here many people still live on...

    1KZ-TE Reliability?

Hi. I`ve had a automatic transmission KZJ95 (1KZ-TE) as my DD the last 10 years. They have a good reputation over here (Norway) but you have to be aware of as mentioned, a few issues, even if it`s serviced well: - Heads cracks. Intercooler and a fanclutch service is often very preventive. -...
