Well… there’s the inner and outer. I’m assuming they replaced the axle parts because they had to have everything apart anyway. But, I’ll be paying more attn to this next time. And prob doing the diff drop and using better clamps.

A shop did it for me. Pretty much brought the front end up to level or just under. I’m getting the impression that it must be the lack of diff drop. They said all was “within spec.”

OEM CVs and new boots and axles each time.

I tightened the bars on my '98 to bring the front end up a bit. Only a small amount, since then the front axle boots seem to tear about every two years. No axle noise or skip/pop sounds at all when turning. Related to tightening the bars? Solution? Thanks.

They are lighter, not sure of the exact weight diff but it’s at least 10/12 lbs each.

Put TRD Pro BBS Wheels on the 2015 and… Why does the rig drive better now. Same tires but it’s smoother riding and corners better, overall the vehicle just handles better. Psychosomatic ? On top of that, looks pretty darn good too.

Thank you. A year ago that would of been my guess but I had someone recently tell me there has been a big bump in older LC pricing. Must be lower mileage rigs and maybe earlier models.
