I have 67’ FJ40, recently swapped the legendary 6cyl out for a 383 i built when the 6 lost a rear main seal and bent the crank. Drove it with the 6 for over ten years so wanted to try 8.
Heres what ive got, and im just about done with the rebuild, painting the week of 5/14/2018 with a slate metallic blue..

Frame is 67’
Freshly rebuilt full roller 383 ( forged crank, rods, pistons, afr 195 heads, holley 750 truck avenger carb, aftr mrkt alum rad, dual derale fans, dakota digital cotroller, + other goodies)
Rebuilt SM465

Sprung over on leafs
Luke labs fromber steering kit
Saginaw box
Ruff stuff trac bar
Lock right up front Lincoln locked rear
4 wheel discs
Metal tech family cage
37” creey crawlers
Mickey t alum wheels
Working on painting it slate metallic blue (urekem base clear from coating store)
