    Fp-B+ question

Thanks again. I’ll check it all out once the rain stops.

    Fp-B+ question

I’ll check that tomorrow. So it is after the diagnostic port? Even though I’ve got power at the diagnostic, this may still be keeping it from the fuel pump? Do I check a particular pin on the BO1?

    Fp-B+ question

Thank you. I had the FSM downloaded to another computer, but it’s not in use right now. I thought that was the case that it should run. I am getting +12 at the B+. I just wanted to check everything that I could access easily before pulling the seats and carpet.

    Fp-B+ question

Forgot to add earlier that the fuel gauge does not move at all when key is switched into the on position. I put ~6 gallons of fresh gas in yesterday. Tank was dry. Also, it will fire briefly off of starting fluid.

    Fp-B+ question

Does jumping Fp-B+ bypass everything (relays, etc) that can keep the fuel pump from running? Aside from bad ground, bad connection at the pump, or bad pump. 1993 that has been sitting for three or four years has a crank no start. I pulled the return hose from the fuel pressure regulator, and...

    Dash lights on

Got a chance to run out and check. Battery only reads a little under 12 volts, so appears alternator is the problem. Thanks again

That was going to be my first test unless someone said there was something else obvious. I’ll check it out tomorrow. Thanks

    Dash lights on

1993 Cruiser sits more than it drives right now. Small parasitic drain somewhere that I haven’t traced down. Battery will die if not started and ran once every week or two. The battery finally went completely dead, and I changed It earlier this week. I jumped it over the weekend, but it wouldn’t...

    A/C compressor question

Mine worked fine for a while. Like someone else said, so cold I would have to turn it down or off. Then one day the belt started squealing while I was driving. It would run fine for a while at startup, then would start making racket a little later. Really hot days made it squeal quicker. I...

    A/C compressor question

In the past I’ve used the cans with the built in gauge from the parts store. They have a dial that you turn to the current outside temperature. I don’t completely trust them, but I’ve never had a problem with them. I’ve only used them on vehicles that I figured I would have to swap parts on...

    A/C compressor question

Yes. Those. I’m going to drive it a little over the next few days and see how it feels. I’m betting it’s a little low now. If it feels like it is, I’ll pick up a set of gauges to check.

    A/C compressor question

    Also quite possible

    A/C compressor question

I believe the previous owner said he refilled it shortly before I bought it. It had leaked down at some point, and he refilled with a home kit of some sorts. Apparently the leak is not too terribly bad.

    A/C compressor question

I started looking to find a part number earlier then stopped. Thanks for the part number. I had a dump truck a couple of years ago that kept overheating due to a missing fan shroud. I rigged one together from some old parts and never had a problem again.

    A/C compressor question

That is possible. The fan shroud has been missing since I’ve owned it. I’ve never had any overheating issues, so I’ve not replaced it. I didn’t figure it would be too easy to find, but I’ve also not tried.
