I looked for months to find a 97 CE or 40th with low miles and not abused. Found this one with 155000mi and spotless inside and out had to fly and drive to bring it home but it was worth it. I was a 10+ year Jeep driver and would never go back I love this rig. Done a few mods with the tires rack...
All of the above they are great in snow mud etc... Better milage ??? don't know yet but I will report back on the end results. The spedo was off about 2mph with the 265s and now with the 255s at 65 its off 4.9mph on the gps so it reads 60.1 on the spedo
Xenon headlights with the HID wiring etc came on the rig when I bought it. I am not a fan of the look but they are bright as heck. One of these days I am going to go back to the factory lenes
Here ya go.. I was really curious about the rpms at hwy speed. I checked before and after mph at 65. The rpms dropped 250 at 65 very happy about that I think the land cruisers are geared a bit low at hwy speeds.. No real power difference as the tires are narrower and a bit lighter than the 265s
Only have a dozen or so miles on them driving home. I was worried about the highway hum but was really surprised fairly quite for an aggressive MT and the narrow tire drives so much better. I ran 33 9.50 15s on my Jeep for years and loved em. The 255s are basically the same size
Finally got new tires on the cruiser went from the plain jane 265/75-16 to the 255/85-16 MT Maxxis Bighorns. I love the new look the street tires were an eye sore....Its starting to look like a real Land Cruiser
