Achiller30, That is exactly the hitch I use. I love it. 1 hitch does all the trailers. We have 5 trailers that vary in height and use both 2-5/16 and 2” balls. I store it in my drawer to keep someone from walking away with it. Plus it looks better. Best, Robert

No leaks. I don’t remember how long I left them up there, but I run it thru the automatic car wash and never had any leaks or problems. If it were parked outside for a long time, I imagine the sun would eventually degrade the plastic and cause problems.

I covered the holes with little circles of 3M clear bra material.

I believe they plugged in their computer and reset it. It didn’t take long at all

After the trip I went to the dealer and got it fixed. They first told me it was because my windshield was dirty. It wasn't. Then they said sometimes it just happens??? I can not remember the actual code, but it took less than 5 minutes and they didn't charge me or even give me a receipt.

I'm currently on my second license plate light, after the first got water inside. Before installing, I sealed the assembly with silicone RTV. Fingers crossed, but it has worked for a couple months!!

One day the shop called and had it ready to install. I didn’t really see any reason to leave it off so, I let them install it. Maybe the back window collected 5% less dust without it. And my mileage might be 1% better with it????
