Failed a state safety inspection today for a "hole in the frame".

Does anyone know if there originally may have been a drain hole in this spot and mine got rusty OR if this is truly a rust-thru of the cross-member.
Its by the driver's side rear tire.
Thanks for insight.
Thanks for the advice and recommendation brother. I appreciate it. I put in a new alternator and all seems fine. You are correct about rte 50...nuts. I live in middleburg and go that way from time to time. this area is getting out of control.
A word of thanks to all for the assistance; except for the hater that beat me up for my slow response to a battery warning light. Sometimes life gets in the way...
Charged the battery and put in a reman denso alternator. All seems well for now. System is showing good charging and seems to be...
Had a serious issue today and I don't know where to start with a repair...
Here goes:
1. Battery light came on and I drove for 2 days with it on.
2. Went on vacation and it sat for 1 week.
3. Returned from vacation and it started, but starter power was a little weak.
4. Drove it for 2...

Finished the speed sensor removal today.
This should have been a three minute job but as with my luck, it was a PITA.
See photos. Mine was stuck in place with corrosion. I couldn’t believe how hard getting it out was, even after multiple PBlaster shots overnight and twisting it each time to...
I'm having the VSC TRAC/ABS codes on the dash so I hooked up Techstream and got C0210(rear right speed sensor) and C1223(ABS control).
Checked the speed sensor and saw both wires had somehow gotten nicked so I'm guessing they are shorting which is causing C0210.
Based on my experience removing...
I'm running 275/70/18 Michelins...only a very slight AHC lift
No problems at all.
Mine are shot so I may just go to a 305/65/18 unless someone here advises against it. (1 inch wider, 1/4'taller.)
I have dash cams in both my 100 and my pickup. Best money I think I’ve spent. I live in the dc area and nutty things are liable to break out any time here. It comes on when the truck is started and goes off 30 seconds after the ignition is turned off. Easy.
Just some piece of mind for me. You...
Ditto on the above. My lower blower vent on the drivers side all of a sudden had no airflow.
Looked under there and the carpet had covered the air outlet. I'm not sure how it got folded up and covered the vent, but hey, I'm all for a free fix.
Wow. You have done quite a bit of hard work! I know everything seems to suggest the sensors are ok but my bet is still on a sensor. Once corroded, failed, dirty and/or opened up, they are just awful.
I wish I could help more but that's all I can offer. I know this is frustrating.
Best in...
Sell it and get a non-AHC model. Use the extra cash on some upgrades. You wont have near the headaches and time spent agonizing over how best to remove/replace the AHC. Time is valuable.
