Mechanically this car held up really well but The corrugations really test you though. the whole trip we did 18,247km and chewed 2352 L of diesel over 3 months. so far what I've broken: EGT probe, second battery gauge, rear barn door delaminated at the hinge, intercooler water pump, rear bar...

and the last of them: Gibb river road WA, Did 2 tyres over 600 km heavily corrugated off road and my 3rd tyre delaminated at 100km/h and slapped the crap out of my rear bar. 10 year old tyres so you run the risk.
