Does anyone know where the body nuts for the rear exterior vents can be found? Based on this thread the part number is (90189-01014) however I cannot find this part on any website for sale. If anyone has found a compatible part in a generic size that would be helpful too.

Totally understood, ideally it would be a weekday storm with enough snow for a Saturday trip.

As the temperatures drop and the snow looms closer, I would like to gauge interest on having a Snow Wheeling Day. This would just be a day trip, and the exact date is dependent on getting a heavy snowfall (6"+). I have a few locations of where we could possibly go, all local or State Forest...

My wheels were too, they need a recoat after 5 years lol. I understand the easy maintenance factor, I plan to paint my bumpers with Rustoleum instead of Powdercoating for this reason. when they get scratched I can just paint over it and be done.

If he's painting the frame it very well could get broken. if rocks will chip rocker panels up then they'd probably chip frame paint too. If it gets dragged on a rock it would definitely break that layer.

I don't know any specifically, but I know some of those coatings can have some pretty noxious fumes. I worked on abuilding project where a (dumbass) engineer specified what was essentially battleship paint for the structural beams. That got axed pretty quickly because the fumes would have...

My ignition timing is a bit messed up. I did the MSD springs to adjust for my desomg. Then learned they make it worse...

Considering the price of Fuel this is probably the wrong time to ask this... For those of you with Sniper EFI, do you use regular (88/89) Fuel or premium? My sniper setup has a slight misfire like idle and I'm wondering if it's cause I've been running regular.

Yup, it moves the star wheel when you pull it. I did that prior to pulling the drums off and it had no effect. I moved the shoes out a few turns while I was in there and that helped a good bit too.

Yeah I think so too. They were ok until the Blues Cruise, descending Renee's Hill they got real sketchy. 60 series trucks are supposed to have self adjusting brakes in the rear and I serviced all the components a year ago. I have a feeling the mud and gunk in there hindered their operation...

It turns out taking your truck through peanut butter and coal dirt makes the rear brakes pretty mucky. Who Knew 🤣 Some sand paper and brake clean and they work much better!

Oh Hell Yeah! I love to see it. Getting to Vermont for wheeling is definitely on the hot list. I really got the period correct look right, white wagon wheels and homemade bumpers. galore!
