    Appalachia Scale Crawlers

Ok, so the Honcho RTR showed just in time for my kids birthday on Sunday, but I guess Ready-to-Run means different things to different folks. I am missing a battery. I have searched and I think Hobbytwon will carry batteries compatible with this, but its unclear whether the connectors are...

Fixed AC last summer and now not working again

I added the proper PAG and r134 only when I replaced the compressor and dryer last summer (with all new associated o-rings). I don't see any oil residue anywhere obvious. Unless the dye is in either of those I guess there isn't any. It pulled great vacuum last summer and blew super cold for...

Fixed AC last summer and now not working again

To be clear, with no voltage to the compressor the clutch does not lock the pulley to the compressor. When I apply voltage, the clutch locks the pulley to the compressor. Thus when I spin the pulley by hand, the compressor also turns.

Fixed AC last summer and now not working again

I certainly hope a 1 year old Denso compressor isnt locked up but that seems about my luck with this truck. I'll try tonight after work. Thanks for the suggestions.

Fixed AC last summer and now not working again

I will certainly check those, but do either of those explain not being able to engage the clutch manually or doing so causing the engine to almost die?

Fixed AC last summer and now not working again

I replaced my AC compressor, dryer, belt, idler puller and fully recharged the system last summer. It worked great and blew almost too cold. I used either Denso or Toyota parts. Jump to today, I tried the AC and it just blew warm air. I got home and checked fuses. All were fine. I looked under...

    Appalachia Scale Crawlers

I want to buy my 5 year old a crawler to play with. My 8 yo and me are more into dirt bikes, but my youngest loves trucks and 4 wheeling. I thought a crawler would be more his speed since it happens a much slower speeds. I am guessing RC stuff has an entire sub-culture. I don't want to start a...

    Low Profile Pintle Receiver

Hangs too low, for what? I still run mine and I consider it a spare tire protector and rear slider. So what, it bangs on things. I have gone everywhere the guys with 35s and fancy 4x4labs rear bumpers have.
