wanting to take it to CR

Hey all I reached the same conclusion as most of you in here, and I didn't send any $. I've been in touch with the police and reported it to as many places I can report it to. It's definitely a scam as many of you have identified. Thanks for looking out. The search continues....

Been looking for a Bj40 for awhile now, came upon this site Muscle Cars Weekly – Classified Automotives - https://musclecarsweekly.com/ It has several FJ40s and 2 BJ40s at seemingly pretty good prices. Does anyone know if the company is legit, have any experience with them, or know how I can...

Sounds about right. I think I'll skip it. I appreciate the thoughtful feedback.

Thank you for the thorough and thoughtful response.

I agree and appreciate your feedback!

I appreciate it. So basically keep an eye out for anywhere the frame had other stuff welded onto it?

Thank you!

Thank you! - The 1977 BJ40 I'm looking at looks like it had that valve removed by some sketchy mechanic and since then it's putting out white smoke while running. :(

Are you able to determine this by looking at one of the pictures? If so, which one?

I'm not sure - which picture are you referencing?

Did you ever get this resolved? @knuckle47 I am looking at buying a 1977 BJ40 with a 14B Engine and I believe it's having this same issue.

Also if anyone has any ideas exactly what motor this is please share :)
