yeh im having a real issue finding a replacement. 2 new powerbond ones pulled apart . i mite have to buy a 2h motor and take balancer off. . still waiting on a delivery from another aussie company. not holding my breath.

i guess this probably not the best idea if i want the old motor to last .

yeh roger. i was going to be getting it done at our workshop at the mine. pretty sure ive read on here before of others doing it. as long as its balanced should be right hey?? So Tapage u are being sarcastic right. ?? what sort of issues would u expect from a solid balancer correctly...

would welding a harmonic balancer cause any long term issues . i need one for my 12ht . i have an old one off a 2h but they are rare as hens teeth . i have had 2 fail from an aussie supplier.

would u have a harmonic balancer for sale at all?? or point me in the direction i could find one.

i didnt try sliding them.by hand before i put them on probably should have but! 20 seconds is a joke .

yeh my thoughts too. im in australia . the brand i used is about all i could find. still searching for another but. can u give me any direction to reputable supplier . anywhere . im willing to pay freight . (i live at the top of the pointy bit in australia . 9 hrs drive to nearest city. )

my original balancer died so i purchased a new one and threw it on . it seperated. got a replacement as i thought it would be a one off thing. 2nd one seperated within 20 seconds . i did have my pwr steer idle pulley on arse about so the belt was running foward toward it from balancer but only...

thats what was makes sense. i think i will give that a try . seems to me that method would be the most effective to . no doubt there would be an air pocket here and there but u cant argue with flooding the system
