I am curious, possibly some of the experts can answer this, but why do some picture show a red tub and other show a blue tub? If the red was some sort of primer, wouldn't they prime the entire tub?

I was able to fix this over the weekend. Thanks everyone for your help. I adjusted the switch moving it toward the firewall and it works fine now. The rubber bumper was starting to wear, so I'll order one and eventually replace it. For others having the same issue, the two links in this chain...
