I had pretty much this EXACT same problem with the right rear door on my 1997 Land Cruiser. Other 3 doors functioned normally. Right rear door would not turn on the rear dome light, rear door courtesy lights or the door ajar light on the dash. I had already replaced the courtesy door switch...
