I ended up comparing pricing through Lexus, Partsouq, McGeorge, and Amazon for OEM parts. Oil filters, engine drain plug gaskets, Air Filters, cabin filters, Blade assemblies. Shipping from lexus ended up being 47 bucks, from Partsouq was stupid expensive at over 120, Amazon was, of course...

Trying to order air filters, cabin air filters, etc from toyota/lexus for my 2001 LC470 and 2002 LC and getting "backordered and not able to provide a delivery date" from the various vendors. Any clue how long the wait is? Go with aftermarket stuff or wait??

I'm curious as to how the new Tundra "feels" as compared to the new Land Cruiser, so much overlap between them. I have not driven either. Is it worth a 50k difference?

I'm not terribly suspicious that it is the belt. Pulleys all seemed fine. The belt was worn and replacing it got rid of the original whine. You are right, there isn't really an adjustment for the belt. Perhaps should have said "after installation per FSM"..... You are correct, I do need to...

2002 LC which I gave to my daughter in law. All baselined, just did new serpentine belt because of some slipping. There was an easily heard whistle before the belt replacement which went away post new belt and careful adjustment. The truck now has a faint and inaudible to me whistle on start...
