Garage Art Episode 1: So what's this other project, I hear you ask? Well, as you know fixing rusty old cars cost money. So one day earlier in the year, I was scratching my head wondering how I could go about making myself some extra coin that I could stick into Mario, without feeling too...

This is where I up to, at roughly 1627 hours EST Tuesday 1st December 2020. I got me some painted panels. Smooth, shiny, rust free panels with no mould, lichen, plant life or other ecosystems.

Holy crap..................I just checked the date and the last time I updated this thread it was June 2019. This is simply not good enough. Now you'd reckon, I'd have a shed-load of updates. Well, don't hold your breathe. What can I say, I work slowly! I would like to say, slow and...

G'day MarnO, I suppose if you are ever going to live without a heater core then Broken Hill is the probably the place to do it.......at least during the day. I took my heater core down to our local radiator place. It think it cost me around $60. I'm not sure if they use some sort of caustic...

and some more heater box action shots. I reckon some new foam will make a bit of a difference. Thanks Mick, I reckon another decade or two and I'll be going close to turning the key on this bad boy!

I completed the rebuild of the heater box a few years ago, so it was nice to dig it out. Here are a couple of images during disassembly.

The heater box came up alright. I used one of Atlas's rebuild kits and had the heater core cleaned and pressure tested.
