Definitely South American by looking at the oil cap written in Spanish. Funny that it has another cap just hanging on a chain.

You are right - the story is this came from South America to Michigan many years ago.

Funny you say that because the story is this was in a FJ45 driven from Central America to Michigan in the late 80’s. The engine outlasted the truck that was scrapped due to rust. Any idea why it would be different?
