    Axle snap ring doesn't fit?

Hub seal correct. I used cruiser patch tool first, but didn’t work well for me, so used a bolt and carefully worked it in and out using a bolt in the axel and a pair of pliers on the bolt until it was mated on the brass bushing. Confident it is seated. New bearings, races, seal, gaskets...

    Axle snap ring doesn't fit?

Picture below of the trail gear setup. Just more friendly to servicing more often as I understand it. Figured I would try it out. I am certain that the fds is hitting the bushing, as I can hear the metal on metal when I manipulate it back and forth and when pulled apart see the ‘bare’ brass...

    Axle snap ring doesn't fit?

Yupp, all oem with the exception of the spindle nut. Using the trail gear setup for that. This does not affect the axel placement in the flange though.

    Axle snap ring doesn't fit?

I’m going through doing a bunch of front end work and have run into an issue where the thinnest snap ring will not fit now. I have used a puller and have the axel seated against the brass bushing, but only have a gap of ~1.4mm. Brass bushing is fully seated, checked when installed to make sure...

Spindle Surface Issue - Run or Replace!

It’s built up rust. I used a file and some emery cloth to get the last bits of it off.

Spindle Surface Issue - Run or Replace!

It was actually the recipe you posted in another thread. Worked great, I used it to remove the rust on the knuckle assembly. From another thread on mud. Definitely cheaper, and seems to work really well.

Spindle Surface Issue - Run or Replace!

Long story short, left my knuckles in the home brew rust reformer longer than I planned and looks like it affected the surface of the spindles. They no longer look polished. Wondering if that’s an issue or not? Should I look at replacing them or run em? Any info is helpful, thanks! Of note, the...

Cranking not starting, No CPU (OBDII) Power

I may be tracking, not entirely sure, but the truck has started! See pictures below. Wire was badly corroded and terminal snapped off when removing. I cut wires back about 4 inches and spliced in some new wire. Heat shrinked everything, put a new terminal on (just copper battery terminal). Put a...

Cranking not starting, No CPU (OBDII) Power

I replaced that with no luck. Really thought it was that at first too and had a spare in the back so through it on but didn’t change it. Just pulled the alternator out, the wire is corroded, looks like something shorted and melted the wire, almost looks welded. So thinking my culprit is in...

Cranking not starting, No CPU (OBDII) Power

No CEL, just tried unplugging scanguage to see if that changes anything, does not. Wish it did! Never have luck that good.

Cranking not starting, No CPU (OBDII) Power

I have proper voltage at EFI relay and COR relay. Still no power to ecu based on scangauge not powering. How should I go about testing voltage regulator on alternator? What else should I be looking at?

Cranking not starting, No CPU (OBDII) Power

    1) Battery Voltage good, also tried jumping it too. 2) I’ll check here momentarily, just starting to mess with it again after towing it home 500 miles 3) The scangauge is plugged into the obdii port 4) Everything else seems to work. I’m not getting 12v at efi relay, which may be why ecu...
