Parking break is worn but holds the car if it's not on a steep incline. I will try to get a better video today of the actual chatter.

Even with pliers, the knob does not budge. There is some oil leaking down the housing. The odd thing is that the sound didn't gradually become louder and its definitely loud metal sounding. Almost like a bearing.

Update- with the car off, transfer in neutral and trans in neutral, I was able to reproduce te sound just by pushing the car. It seems to be a loud chattering coming from the parking break disk that is next to the transfer case. Any ideas? Thanks to all

Thanks! I inspected this morning- the 2/4 movement is solid but there is a lot of looseness and slip in the low/high linkage. (Right and left movement on the knob) Is there a possibility that the sound is a result of not fully engaging low or high? Stuck in between?

Shifter feels normal, even with firm shifts the noise is still there

I don't think this has a PTO?

The noise starts as soon as the clutch is about 80% let out and the car begins to roll. When I press the clutch back in, the noise continues as the car rolls.
