Yep I'm using the stock Toyota 4 speed. So I should be able to use the oem cable for the 5.7 vortec and with a little fab work I'll be in business??

Okay back to the drawing board, what have you guys used for a throttle linkage setup? Stock pedal and Chevy cable or chevy pedal and cable? Motor is in and it's down to the little details now. Thanks in advance!

A friend got rear ended in his escalade that got totaled. It had 140k on it and when he told me he was parting it out I got lucky and snatched up the motor. Good luck with your swap! Okay guys this is where I've made it to. I made a motor swap rookie mistake and didn't think about what clutch and flywheel setup I would need to hook my 5.7 to the stock 4speed. What do you guys recommend?? Huge thanks to you FJ Gods!

Good eye! I noticed that, but my friend I borrowed the hoist from had it set up like that. I'll point that out to him and see if theirs a reason.

I'm in the process of doing a 350 swap on my 1986 FJ60. I'm selling the running 2f motor complete. It has 218k miles on her. I'll add 3/4 of a quart in between oil changes. If I planned on staying stock I would freshen it up. Carburetor rebuilt and the valves were adjusted in the last 2k miles...
