seat warmers not working; what to check first

I'm having the same issues. It seems like these are the steps I read from above posts: 1. If both seats are not heating, check the fuse (#61) 2. If one seat is heating and the lights in the center console do not light up, check the connection under the center console. Here's the bulb number if...

    Used 1991 80 220k Buying advice

Yea there's a lot of unknowns with this truck. The guy said that he purchased it as a running and well driving project but it definitely needs some TLC. I think there may have been some shotty repairs and some undisclosed replacements made. If cutting out the dual cats is of any indication, I...

Thanks for the feedback folks. I think I'll hold off on this one unless he's willing to give it away for a song. It seems like there may have been some rust issues in the past that were not repaired properly, seems like there are a lot of grease and oil leaks that may be a chore to trace and...

Those attachments show a pretty good selection of underbody photos. What do you think?

I have a chance to pick up a 1991 LC that is in pretty good shape. New rear drum brakes, new shocks, refurb'd wheels, diff fluids flushed, looks fairly clean underneath. The bad, both cats have been cut out and replaced with pipe. Back window wiper has been removed as the motor went out. Slight...

100 owners, show me your rooftop cargo box

Old fiberglass cargo box from the 90’s. Arc is the company name... I put 180w of flexible solar on top to power my aux batteries and installed some Yakima quick connect clamps to make it easy on and off.

Center Differential Lock Transfer Indicator Switch Problem

It could be your dash indicator lights if you feel/hear it engage and then hear it "snap" on/off. Otherwise, just replace the part listed in this thread and see if that fixes the indicator lights. It's a one banana job and only costs a few bucks.

    M416 Camper Build Advice

Here it is at the end of shakedown week #1. We took it on some challenging trails around the Upper Peninsula and it performed flawlessly. A little loud with the Pintle/Lunette but it allowed the trailer to articulate on its own which was a must for some of the trails. Next comes: 1. Getting...

Center Differential Lock Transfer Indicator Switch Problem

Sage advice there ^^^ Replace the sensor and exercise the thing off road for about a few weeks to a month. If it’s anything like mine it’ll likely start working intermittently then will work all the time after you wake it up from it’s slumber. Also, once mine started working again and indicating...

    M416 Camper Build Advice

We'll see what happens here... There will definitely be a few phases so that I can actually use it while building it out this summer/Fall. I think it'll be a good test of new welding skills and incorporating all of the stuff that I've been too hesitant to attach to my roof rack or put inside my...
