On a GX460 You can remove the compressor and just leave the solenoid plugged in. I removed the whole thing. Got the error. removed the solenoid from the compressor and plugged it in and voila, no error.

Thanks. I found a pic of the wiring harness on ebay and was able to identify the colors from that. Red and White with Black for anyone else who may need this thread in the future. The other wires are for the parking sensors which I deleted.
