Wow, so it sounds like the 22re IS what I’ve been converting my 3FE FROM...... no smog pump, egr delete.

The chassis is 1989, but the driveline and engine are from a 91. Engine and driveline SUPPOSEDLY have 75000, chassis has 174000. That’s why I was wondering if there were anything’s I could check for to eliminate “red flags”. Thanks!

Thank you much! So, I’m assuming the the 22re gas timing chain? I was spoiled by the 3FE in the sense that it had no chance of breaking a chain or belt, seeing as how the timing is gear driven on them beasts! Do you have a part # for your springs, and did you have to use any camber correction...

Hello all! I’ve lurked on the 80 series Land Cruiser sight for a few years, but I believe I may end up in a 89 pickup. My Cruiser was a3FE, and the 2 trucks I’m looking at have the 22R motor, in which I know NOTHING about! Anything I need to be looking for? What are the aftermarket options on...

I remember a year or two ago someone DID do a detailed list of the tools they carried, supposedly it was the “least amount of tool weight required to fix almost any breakdown”. Not sure I believe “ANY breakdown”, but it seemed legit. I WISH I could find that post for you! It was eye opening...

Obviously your not too bright when it comes to Cruisers. All the 3FE needs is beer in the crankcase, and take a leak in the fuel tank, and that beast will run forever! :flipoff2::flipoff2:

lol, I’m know that’s true! Luckily I haven’t suffered any major breakdowns in the middle of BFE.......... yet! But, just about every time we go somewhere, someone will ask for some sort of tool. We have to keep those Heeps that those “ mentally challenged” friends of ours drive moving.... don’t...

Good god! Why don’t you just bolt down your Snap-On rollaway in the back?! No wonder your super charged.... you have to move all that weight!

I “second” Captclose, go thru the wire bundle by the egr again, maybe you ( or PO) missed a wire that’s cut short?. Injectors on these do go bad, but 5 out of 6 sounds suspicious. Good luck! I’ll be following.

That’s demonstrating GREAT parental responsibility! We always put our daughters in safe vehicles while they were young too, and it sure helped me sleep at night! God forbid anything happens, but if it does, she’s in one of the safest vehicles she could be in! I’m sure she was super stoked to...

I agree with George....... my 20volt impact hits it quick enough to break it loose by just holding it with my hand...... good luck!

It IS to keep the rear window clean, and believe me, they DO work. Nice looking Cruiser! How you liking Cali? A lot different than Wi.....isn’t it?
