    Trunnion Bearing?

For sure, everything will be cleaned an repacked. I already searched and found a great thread on it here https://forum.ih8mud.com/threads/front-axle-rebuild-for-faq.78276/ So I'll follow that and everything will go back together cleaned and packed full of new grease:) Any other suggestions? I'm...

    Trunnion Bearing?

I have seal drivers, should be good there. As well as seal pullers. I'll wait on the birf ends, it has to stop somewhere! lol I just ordered the hydro assist etc, as well as service items, so I'll leave it as is for now and work the bugs out as they crop up

    Trunnion Bearing?

I'm seeing Low Range Offroad has a kit also. Looks like it has a few more items? http://www.cruiseroutfitters.com/lockers.html http://www.lowrangeoffroad.com/toyota-fj80-land-cruiser-knuckle-rebuild-service-kit-with-japanese-wheel-bearings.html Not worried about the few dollars, but is one...

    Trunnion Bearing?

So I was correct in thinking it can only be the trunnion bearings then? If so, I will just go ahead and get a full front end rebuild kit and be done with it. They were "junkyard" (guy pulled them from his LC to sell) axles, so it's to be expected.

    Trunnion Bearing?

I searched but couldn't find the same symptoms..... Driver side knuckle, TRE removed. The knuckle is a little stiff, then wants to return to center in a big way. It seems easier to turn when centered, like it's falling into a small hole? Hard to describe. It certainly isn't linear in it's...

Driveshaft bolts part numbers....Yes I searched!

My dealer got the parts in next morning, $64 out the door. Yeah, expensive for 8 bolts etc, but worth it to me. When I called them, with a vin, they gave me @4 options for the bolts. I had zero idea....lol

Driveshaft bolts part numbers....Yes I searched!

That was EXACTLY what I was looking for, thank you. Called my local dealer, and they'll have them in the morning for me. Quicker than shipping from anywhere, and they answer the darn phone! This is what the axles are under, thus why I couldn't give them MY vin.......rofl Thanks again Martin

Driveshaft bolts part numbers....Yes I searched!

I called a local Toyota dealer with a vin I found for a 1997 Land Cruiser, but they came back with 3 different ones for the driveshaft to axle bolts! I swapped some FZJ 80 axles into a rig and would like to use the OEM bolts, washers and nuts for the axle to driveshaft connections. Rear is...

    Caster and pinion angle

Yes sir I was after the stock pinion angle at stock caster though. If it works with my driveline, no need to cut and reweld that way. I was after getting the caster right by knowing the OEM pinion angle, then set it to that. If in time I get vibrations, or the angles are too far off, I ca then...

    Caster and pinion angle

Hey guys I tried searching, no definitive answers.... I have a pair of FZJ80 axles in my '04 Discovery. I am wanting/needing the front pinion angle in regards to the correct caster. Yeah I could pull it all apart and put the caster gauge on it, but figured the front pinion flange moves in...
