yeah, im digging the no rack.

yeah the steering just felt horrible. had a lot of slop in the steering. i put it on the lift. had 1 guy turn the wheel and i could see the rack and pinion would shift left to right. i also yanked on both front wheels and they wobbled in and out. that was due to the upper control arms being shot.

i see youve had a couple 99's. the best year imo.

Still a long way to go but good enough to cruise around town. The rack and pinion was shifting side to side with the blown bushings and upper control arms. Now it feels nice and tight. Much better.

Damn window motor connector was wrong! Had to modify it. Lx to LC doesn’t work because of the automatic windows.

Couldn’t find a set of used steelies so purchased new on the Black Friday deals from Toyota.
