Late to the answers. For whatever reason after I dropped my wife and daughter off at the airport when I got back in the car the lights went off!?! Been fine ever since. Weird, but I’m thankful. Good grief. I was checking all the switches with nothing then bam! Fixed by itself. Who knows.🤷‍♂️

Door ajar light won’t turn off?!?

Hello, my door ajar light won’t turn off and I’m traveling on I40 towards Nashville. It just went on. I stopped and checked all the door sensors and it still doesn’t turn off. I’m worried it’ll kill the battery overnight so plan on disconnecting the battery at night till I can find the...

    Remove catalytic converters?

Hey all, tried the search option but nothing seems to pop up for remove catalytic converters. I have my 95 LC DD for around town and out in the desert hills almost daily. Can take my dogs running and exploring. Anyways, we have no emissions testing where I live and have thought about...

Help - stuck front brake caliper

I'm changing the front brakes on my 1995 Landcruiser, did the passenger side no problem. Driver side i can't get the calipers to get pushed back in on the inside bottom left? On the outside, both go in nicely for the pads to get put in, on the inside the top recedes good but the bottom wont...

    Parts ID numbers assist please

I may be mistaken I've been wrong before, but I'm pretty sure the weatherstripping was only the weatherstripping. However i may be thinking about the door panel clips. Not sure, sorry if i'm no help. If you get the clips with the strip, great.

McGeorge Toyota for the weatherstrips and my local dealer for the clips. Guess they make more money separating items out. Kinda sad really

No. Just had the weatherstrips when ordered. Went to the local Toyota dealer to get the right clips.

1995 Landcruiser. All electrics work. Won’t even click to turn over.

I’ll be changing the terminal ends as I get some cash and time. Been doing the same on some of my other vehicles as well.

Who knows how old the battery was. Couldn’t find a date. Weird how it just dies after driving it this am. So Battery changed and cleaned all the terminals for a good connection and fired right up 😀. Thanks for all the replies 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼 Love this forum.

1995 Landcruiser. All electrics work. Won’t even click to turn over.

So I started the car and disconnected the positive cable and the car kept running. So a YouTube video said if I do this and the car runs it’s a battery. If it stalled it would have been the alternator. Going for a battery now.

Need to learn to check the alternator as well. Seems like it should keep battery charged unless battery is so old it won’t keep charge I’m guessing. I’m Still learning electrical

I had disconnected the positive before I left for class. So just Jumped the LC and this is what dash shows. VM shows 12.56. And rechecked 5 minutes later at 12.3 v. Engine is sputtering and volts with engine off is 12.3 Gonna get a new battery and clean all the terminals.
