update: 1: fob for switches worked great 2: I have vintage air so the kick panel vents are sealed off… sooooooo, I used the lever hole that used to open/close the vent and installed a 10k POT for the dimmer on the Dakota digital.

Not that brand but yes shrink tubing all labeled at both ends of every white.

Dude, I’m switching over, arrives tomorrow, replacing switches with wireless key fob setup for around $20.00 tell me what you think?

Very old post, I did this for sw1 and sw2 , no wires, uses fob.

That’s where mine had been, I had it even for a while in the ashtray, then last night I just had this come to god moment and this morning measured, and it’s an exact fit to the lighter, I had a spare base I used and kept my good one if I want to switch back. But works great.

Very old post, but if you don’t smoke use the cigarette lighter and use a double throw momentary switch, here’s mine, 67 camaro.
