It's got a 2nd fuel tank yes, but the filler neck isn't connected, and there is an aux switch on the left side of the steering wheel. PO said he'd never done anything with it and he owned it since 1997. Im not sure, but I doubt it's operable. It may not be hard to get going, but i'll let...

I have an 80 model 40 available for sale. Has factory power steering, and power disc front brakes. Other than GM distributor, all original otherwise. New tires, tie rod ends, steering damper, and shocks. Does have the typical rust issues in floor pans, rear sill and quarters. Rear fenders...

I'll post some more pics later today when i get a chance. And yes i plan on doing everything correct. It might take me a few years, but it'll be beautiful again.

The rust isn't too bad at all really. I pulled the carpet out of it to see what i was dealing with, and the entire floor is basically shot, but still in better shape than a lot I've seen on here. Bought this from a friend of the family or much cheaper with more options than any of the others...

Other things of note... The PO installed a GM distributor, and 1 Ton leaf springs under this rig. It starts first hit every time, unless it's cold as I've mentioned before. Now that someone has mentioned it earlier, I will be looking at the choke cable this weekend to ensure all is well there...

I've attached two more pictures from the day I first looked at it. The rear quarters, most of the floor and the rear sill and bottoms of the ambi doors are pretty rusty, nothing out of the ordinary from the other threads I've seen on here. That part doesn't worry me too much. It definitely...

Actually the PO installed another knob for the choke that I use and all he said was don't use the knob that says "choke" on it because it's been disconnected. And the new one doesn't always fully go back in, so that is something that I've already looked into checking out. Thanks for the reply!
