Correction* the opposite side of the shift linkage

I don't but its super easy, punch out the roll pin (put a paper towel underneath so you don't lose it in the trans, then the rod will come out the shift level side and the new one will slide in!

Figured it out. So it is a roll pin, confused me since the replacement part looked threaded plus the photo above it that gentlemen had a threaded piece going into it but when I took it to match the threads it wasn't threaded enough for anything to fit. Guess it was just the tool they used to...

I'm replacing mine right now but I can't figure out how to get the set rod out of the oem one in the trans. I know it's threaded but its not allen head and hollow. and can't get anything on it. How did you get yours out? Did you drill it? I'd like to avoid drilling being inside the trans and...
