Thanks for the response! Yes, I changed the filter, solenoids, and fluid recently.

I swapped my 1HZ for a 1HDT which bolted up to the original A442F transmission. Now the transmission is constantly overheating even though I've added an external cooler. Does anyone have an idea of what could be causing this? Thanks.

Thanks for that! I assume if I have an ECT button, it's the electronic version. I've been dealing with overheating of the transmission for the last few months and thought if I changed out the solenoids it might help.

Yes, it has an OD button on the shifter and solenoids.

I'm getting mixed info on which transmission my 1992 JDM (RHD) Land Cruiser has. The engine compartment plate says A440F while the filter and solenoids are for the A442F. Would Toyota put an A442F in a cruiser yet stamp A440F on the info plate?

My front ball joints on my JDM HZJ77 need grease but I can’t find a fitting. Anyone know how to do this? Thanks.

Fluid started leaking out of it while driving, I smelled burning oil and stopped and looked under the vehicle. I think between the bell housing, maybe from the torque converter. This happened once before and it stopped working completely on a long trip and I had to have it rebuilt and a new...
